Join us firstly in a guided tour to the Fire Services Museum at Eastern Hill Fire Station, 39 Gisborne St, East Melbourne at 10.00am cost $10.00 per head, $8.00 concession

Located in the former Headquarters Station of the Melbourne Metropolitan Fire Brigade, the award winning Fire Services Museum Victoria, was opened in 1979 to provide a home and focus for the history of fire fighting services in Victoria. The Museum includes a collection of over 10,000 fire related items collected both nationally and internationally and including Country Fire Authority, Melbourne Metropolitan Fire Brigade and Fire Rescue Victoria fire appliances, personnel histories, memorabilia and associated items.

Then take a tram ride or walk down the hill to 20 Spring Street Melbourne where at 11.30am a guided tour of the Old Treasury Building has been organised cost $10.00 per head, visiting areas not accessed by the General Public and a number of fascinating General Exhibitions like Lost Jobs-The Changing World of Work, Women Work for Victory in WWII, Melbourne-Foundations of a City and the Gold Vaults.

After the guided tour you can either continue looking around the Old Treasury building or walk up the road to the Elephant and Wheelbarrow Hotel on the Cnr of Bourke and Exhibition Streets for lunch at 1.00pm

All admissions will be paid to the relevant Museum upon entry.
